What Makes First Staff Benefits Unique

GAP IN COVERAGE ADMINISTRATION

We know of no other plan that allows an insured to go up to five consecutive weeks between assignments (or paychecks) without having to pay premium. During that time, if no claims are incurred, the employee owes us nothing. If during a "gap" the employee uses the benefits, we will take the back premium due from the medical claim and pay the balance to the provider. This provides the insured with "peace of mind", knowing that they can use their plan even when weekly deductions are not being taken.

WEEKLY ADMINISTRATION

Our current clients would certainly place this as our #1 advantage. First Staff Benefits reduces the clients administrative time significantly. We adapt our systems to meet their standards as opposed to vice a versa.

BI-LINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER:

We own our Customer Service Center. It is staffed from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST Monday-Friday. Our benefits counselors can assist with any benefit question as well as enroll employees. Our Customer Service Center is also there to assist our client company administrators with any questions or issues.

SECURE ONLINE BENEFITS PLATFORM:

We offer a custom homepage with company logos where participants are able to enroll for all benefits online, review, download, and print benefit guides, and best of all, they have access to our brand new, easy to use online benefit education videos. COMMUNICATIONS:

We all know that communication is crucial to successful enrollments. We are unequalled in our ability to provide information. Want to ensure that particpants get a hard copy of key communications? We'll print and mail it. Want to cut paper waste? We'll send it digitally. Best of all, we design and output in-house, all customized to fit your clients' needs.

NO ANNUAL DOLLAR AMOUNT MAXIMUMS:

Unlike some of our competitors, we do not have an overall dollar annual maximum for outpatient services. Plans that have these usually set them low ($2,000 per year), which "erases" all other outpatient benefits once that dollar amount is reached for the balance of the year. Some older "mini-med" plans even have additional dollar maximums and impose deductibles, co-insurance and pre-existing condition clauses. First Staff Benefits has never had any of those restrictions.

HEALTH PLAN ADVOCATE:

There is no additional cost for this service and it is included in all First Staff Benefits plans. Under our arrangement with Health Plan Advocate (HPA) if an insured has $1,000 in total out of pocket expenses or $500 in out of pocket expenses from one single medical encounter, HPA steps in to negotiate the amounts with the providers on behalf of the insured. Once they have negotiated that amount to the lowest possible amount, they then offer to assist with establishing a payment plan for the insured.

TERM LIFE / AD&D INSURANCE EMBEDDED IN THE MEDICAL PLAN:

Life and Accidental Death/Dismemberment insurance is always included in our plans. It is never an "optional" benefit.

VIRTUALLY UNLIMITED PLAN DESIGN COMBINATIONS:

We have over 1,200 plan design combinations that allow our clients to customize their benefit offering. "Staffing" covers a very large foot print of both skill and income levels. Our clients aren't "stuck" with 7 or 8 options and trying to make that fit their needs. We will build them virtually whatever they need.
